Description

Myrciaria cuspidata (also called Pitanga de Cuspide, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Myrtaceae. It is native to the Caribbean, Central America, and northern South America. It is a shrub or small tree, usually growing to a height of 3–6 m (10–20 ft). It has glossy, dark green leaves and white flowers that are followed by red or yellow fruits.
