Myrcianthes alaternifolia (also called Alaternifolia myrcianthes, among many other common names) is a species of flowering shrub in the family Myrtaceae. It is native to the Atlantic Forest biome of Brazil. It typically grows in wet forests, at elevations of up to 1,000 metres (3,300 ft).
