Description
Myrceugenia bocaiuvensis (also called Bocaiuva myrceugenia, among many other common names) is a small epiphytic shrub found in the cloud forests of South America. It has a single, thin, upright stem with a few leaves at the base and a single, large, yellow flower. It is found in humid, shady habitats at elevations of up to 1,500 meters.

The flower of Myrceugenia bocaiuvensis is white and has five petals. The seed is a small, black, ovoid drupe. The seedling has a single cotyledon and a long hypocotyl.
