Melaleuca nanophylla (also called Dwarf Honey-myrtle, among many other common names) is a small shrub with a dense, spreading canopy and a smooth, grey bark. It is native to Australia, and can be found in wet sclerophyll forests, woodlands, and along creeks and rivers. It has small, white flowers that appear in spring and summer.
