Melaleuca argentea (also called Silver-leaved Paperbark, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae. It is native to Australia and is found in the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales. It grows in a variety of habitats, including along watercourses, in swamps, and on sandstone ridges.
