Description
Eugenia pinariensis (also called Pitanga-do-mato, among many other common names) is a species of flowering shrub native to Brazil. It typically grows to a height of 3–4 m, with small, glossy, dark green leaves and small, white flowers. It is found in a variety of habitats, including tropical and subtropical forests, savannas, and scrublands.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flower of Eugenia pinariensis is white and has five petals. The seed is small, round and black. The seedlings are thin and have long, narrow leaves.
