Eugenia hyemalis (also called Winter Eugenia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering shrub in the Myrtaceae family. It is native to the Caribbean, Central America, and northern South America. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, as well as in disturbed areas, such as pastures and roadsides.
