Eugenia haematocarpa (also called Haematocarpa, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae. It is native to Central and South America and is found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. It is a small tree or shrub, growing up to 5 meters tall. It prefers moist and shady habitats.
