Eugenia guatemalensis (also called Guatemalan Cherry, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae. It is native to Central America and is found in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. It is a small tree or shrub, growing up to 5 meters tall. It prefers moist and shady habitats.
