Description

Compsoneura diazii (also called Diaz's guayabillo, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Zingiberaceae family. It is a shrub or small tree that grows to a height of 3–5 m. It is native to Central America and is found in the tropical wet forests of Costa Rica and Panama. It is found in wet, lowland forests, often near rivers and streams.
