Description

Treculia africana (also called African Breadfruit, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Moraceae. It is a deciduous tree, growing up to 30 m tall. It is native to tropical Africa, from Sierra Leone east to Ethiopia and south to Angola. It grows in lowland rainforest, as well as in dry woodland and thickets.
