Description

Maclura pomifera (also called Osage orange, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Moraceae family. It is a medium-sized tree, growing up to 15 m tall. It is native to Central and South America, where it is found in tropical and subtropical climates. It is found in tropical moist lowland forests.
