Description

Ficus umbellata (also called Umbrella fig, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Moraceae. It is native to Southeast Asia and is found in Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. It is a large tree, growing up to 30 m tall, with a broad crown and buttressed trunk. It is found in wet forest, from sea level to 1,000 m elevation.
