Description
Ficus turrialbana (also called Turrialba fig, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Moraceae. It is native to Central America and is found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. It is a large tree, growing up to 30 m tall, with a broad crown and buttressed trunk. It is found in wet forest, from sea level to 1,800 m elevation.
