Ficus periptera (also called Winged Fig, among many other common names) is a species of fig tree native to India, Sri Lanka, and the Andaman Islands. It is an evergreen tree that grows up to 15 meters tall, with a dense, spreading canopy. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, as well as in urban areas.
