Description
Ficus insipida (also called Sandpaper Fig, among many other common names) is a small evergreen tree native to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. It has a spreading crown and a thin, grey trunk. It is found in moist, sheltered valleys and along streams in the lowland subtropical forests. It is also found in the lowland subtropical forests of Venezuela.
