Metzgeria chilensis (also called Chilean liverwort, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the family Metzgeriaceae. It is found in the tropical and subtropical regions of the world, in moist and shady habitats such as tropical and subtropical moist montane forests, tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, and tropical and subtropical moist shrublands.
