Abuta vaupesensis (also called Cachimbo, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 10 m tall. It is native to the Amazon rainforest in Colombia and Venezuela. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and is found in lowland tropical rainforest.
