Description

Abuta steyermarkii (also called Cachimbo, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 15 m tall. It is native to the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and is found in lowland tropical rainforest.
