Microlicia inversa (also called Inverse Microlicia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to the Atlantic Forest in Brazil. It grows up to 8 meters tall and has oblong leaves with a glossy upper surface and an inverted tip. Its white flowers are about 2 cm in diameter and it produces small, black, fleshy fruits. It is found in moist, lowland forests and in disturbed areas.
