Description
Microlicia crebropunctata (also called ‘Cabellos de Ángel’, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, up to 8 m tall, with white tomentose branchlets. It is native to Central America, from Mexico to Panama, and is found in wet, montane forests.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flower of Microlicia crebropunctata is a white or pinkish-white, with five petals and a yellow center. The seed is a small, black, flattened, oblong-shaped seed. The seedlings are small, with oval-shaped leaves.
