Description
Microlicia adamantium (also called Adamant Microlicia, among many other common names) is a small shrub or tree, up to 8 m tall, with a straight trunk and a dense, rounded crown. It is native to Brazil and is found in the Atlantic Forest biome, in moist and wet forests, from sea level up to 1,000 m altitude.
Cultivation and Propagation
Microlicia adamantium is a slow-growing shrub that can be propagated from seeds or cuttings. When propagating from seeds, it is best to sow them in a well-draining soil mix and keep them in a warm, humid environment. When propagating from cuttings, it is best to use semi-hardwood cuttings taken from the current season's growth. These should be placed in a well-draining soil mix and kept in a warm, humid environment.
