Description
Graffenrieda grandifolia (also called Large-leaved graffenrieda, among many other common names) is a species of flowering shrub in the Melastomataceae family. It is native to Central America, and is found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. It typically grows in montane forests, at elevations of 1,400–2,100 m.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Graffenrieda grandifolia has small, white flowers. The seeds are small and black. The seedlings have long, narrow, pointed leaves.
