Marchantia hartlessiana (also called Hartless's Marchantia, among many other common names) is a liverwort species in the family Metzgeriaceae. It is a small plant with a thallus up to 2 cm long and up to 0.5 cm wide. It is native to Europe, and is found in moist, shady habitats, such as in the understory of forests.
