Marcgravia elegans (also called Elegant Marcgravia, among many other common names) is a liana native to Central America and northern South America. It has a climbing habit and grows up to 15 m tall. Its leaves are alternate and its flowers are small and white. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist forests, as well as in secondary forests.
