Calathea crotalifera (also called 'Crotalifera Calathea', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Marantaceae family. It is native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. It has large, oval-shaped leaves that are dark green on top and purple underneath, with a purple midrib.
