Wercklea tulipiflora (also called Tulip-flowered Wercklea, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Melastomataceae family. It is an evergreen shrub that typically grows to 0.5-1 m tall. It is native to the Andes, from Venezuela to Bolivia, and prefers to grow in moist, shady habitats.
