Description

Theobroma canumanense (also called Canuma Chocolate Tree, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Malvaceae. It is native to western South America, from Colombia to Peru and Bolivia. It is an evergreen tree that can reach up to 20 meters in height. The leaves are oblong and the flowers are white and fragrant.
