Description

Pterospermum heterophyllum (also called Variable-Leaved Pterospermum, among many other common names) is a small shrub native to Central and South America. It has a smooth, greyish-brown bark and its leaves are glossy, dark green and oblong in shape. It is found in tropical and subtropical dry forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
