Description

Ceiba boliviana (also called the Bolivian kapok tree, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to Bolivia and Peru. It has a straight trunk and a rounded crown. Its bark is grey-brown and scaly, and its leaves are compound and arranged in whorls. It is found in tropical and subtropical dry forests.
