Hiraea macrophylla (also called large-leaved hiraea, among many other common names) is a small evergreen shrub native to Brazil. It grows up to 2 meters in height and has leathery, obovate leaves. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests and is often found near streams and rivers.
