Description

Heteropterys complicata (also called 'Cup Plant', 'Cupflower' and 'Cupflower Plant', among many other common names) is a perennial plant native to the tropical regions of Africa and Asia. It has a woody stem and produces cup-shaped flowers. It grows in moist, shady habitats.
