Description

Acridocarpus smeathmannii (also called African Turpentine Tree, among many other common names) is a medium-sized, deciduous tree that grows up to 8 m tall. It is native to tropical Africa and is found in dry forests, woodlands and savannas. The bark is grey-brown and the leaves are alternate, lanceolate and up to 25 cm long.
