Hugonia neocaledonica (also called New Caledonian Hugeria, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to tropical Africa. It has a straight trunk and a rounded crown, with dark green, glossy leaves that are arranged in opposite pairs. The bark is smooth and grayish-brown in color, with small, glandular hairs.
