Streptopus lanceolatus (also called Twisted Stalk, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to North America. It has lance-shaped leaves and small, white or pinkish-white flowers. It is found in moist, shady woods and thickets.

The flower of Streptopus lanceolatus is a bell-shaped, nodding, white or pinkish-white flower with six petals. The seed is a small, dark brown, ovoid capsule containing several small, dark brown seeds. The seedlings have a single, oval-shaped cotyledon and two opposite, oval-shaped true leaves.
