Campylopus clavatus (also called Club-moss Campylopus, among many other common names) is a species of moss native to Europe, Asia, and North America. It has a light green color and grows in tufts or mats. It can be found in moist, shady areas, such as woodlands, forests, and grasslands.

Campylopus clavatus has small, yellow-green flowers with a single perianth segment that are arranged in a terminal spike. The seeds are small, dark brown and oval in shape. The seedlings have a single, erect leaf with a pointed tip.
