Cultivation and Propagation

Pinguicula ionantha is a perennial aquatic plant that can be propagated by seed or division. It prefers moist, acidic soil and full sun to partial shade. It is best grown in containers or in shallow water, and can be propagated by dividing the root clumps. It is also possible to propagate by seed, but this is not recommended as the seeds are very small and difficult to handle.

Where to Find Pinguicula ionantha

Pinguicula ionantha is native to Mexico, Central America, and South America. It can be found growing in wet meadows, bogs, and along streams.
