Description
Persea obtusifolia (also called Alligator Pear, among many other common names) is a species of evergreen tree native to Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. It has a rounded crown and grows up to 10 m tall. It has oblong, leathery leaves that are dark green and glossy on top with a paler underside. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
