Parasassafras confertiflora (also called Chinese sassafras, among many other common names) is an evergreen tree native to China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It grows up to 25 meters in height and has a trunk diameter of up to 40 cm. Its habitat is in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.
