Description

Ocotea portoricensis (also called Puerto Rican Ocotea, among many other common names) is a species of evergreen tree native to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. It grows up to 20 meters tall and has a trunk diameter of up to 30 cm. It is found in lowland and montane wet forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
