Description

Nectandra nitidula (also called Shiny Nectandra, among many other common names) is a medium-sized evergreen tree native to Central America and the Caribbean. It has a straight trunk and a rounded crown. Its leaves are dark green, glossy, and oblong-lanceolate in shape. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, tropical and subtropical moist montane forests, and swamps.
