Description
Nectandra crassiloba (also called Thick-leaved Nectandra, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Lauraceae family. It is a small to medium-sized tree, growing up to 10 meters tall, with a trunk up to 40 cm in diameter. It is native to Central America and South America, where it is found in tropical and subtropical moist forests.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The Nectandra crassiloba flower has white petals and yellow stamens. The seed is a small, dark brown nut. The seedlings are dark green with small, oval-shaped leaves.
