Description
Machilus sumatrana (also called Machilus sp. 'Sumatrana', among many other common names) is a medium-sized, evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia. It has an upright growth habit with large, oval-shaped leaves and grows best in a substrate of nutrient-rich soil. This plant is found in moist, shady areas in its native regions and prefers a warm, humid environment.
