Description

Litsea quercoides (also called Oak-leaved May Chang, among many other common names) is a small evergreen tree native to East Asia. It has a rounded crown and a short trunk, with a height of up to 15 m. Its leaves are elliptic-ovate, with a length of up to 10 cm. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, as well as in secondary forests and scrublands.
