Description
Licaria crassifolia (also called Thick-leaved Licaria, among many other common names) is a tree that grows up to 25 meters tall. It is native to tropical regions of South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. It is found in moist forests, along streams, and in shady areas.

Licaria crassifolia has small, yellowish-green flowers with a single petal. Its seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are small and delicate.

Licaria crassifolia is a shrub or small tree, growing up to 10 m tall. It is best propagated from seed, which should be sown in a well-drained soil mix, and kept moist but not wet. It can also be propagated from cuttings.
