Description

Cryptocarya polyneura (also called the Brown Beech, among many other common names) is a species of evergreen tree native to Australia and New Zealand. It has a dense, spreading crown and grows up to 20 m tall. Its leaves are glossy green, lanceolate to ovate in shape, and measure up to 10 cm long. It is found in wet sclerophyll forests and rainforests.
