Cryptocarya pallida (also called Pale Laurel, among many other common names) is a medium-sized evergreen tree, growing up to 15 m tall. It is native to the subtropical rainforests of eastern Australia, where it is found in moist gullies and along streams. It prefers a moist, sheltered, and partly shaded position.
