Description

Cryptocarya magnifolia (also called Magnificent Laurel, among many other common names) is a medium-sized evergreen tree, native to Australia and New Zealand. It has a rounded crown and grows up to 20 m tall. Its leaves are glossy green, lanceolate to ovate and up to 15 cm long. It grows in moist and dry forests, in open woodlands and in coastal areas.
