Aiouea palaciosii (also called Palacio's aiouea, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 8 m tall. It is native to the tropical rainforests of South America, and can be found in the Amazon Basin, as well as in the Guianas and Venezuela. It prefers moist soils and is found in lowland rainforests and along riverbanks.
