Description
Iris tenax (also called Oregon iris, among many other common names) is a perennial plant native to the Pacific Northwest of the United States. It has long, narrow, bluish-green leaves and produces a showy flower with three petals and three sepals in shades of blue, purple, and white. It grows in moist meadows, open woods, and along streams and is often found in wetland areas.
